Margie was born and raised in San Angelo, but spent most of her life with her husband, Harvey Youngblood, shepherding and loving her family in Fort Worth. Her two children, Reagan Lynn Youngblood Daniel and Travis John Youngblood, and her new grandson, Harrison John "Hank" Youngblood, were her treasure and her purpose. Her Momma and Daddy, brothers and sister, nieces and nephews, and all family and friends were her joy. She even loved her cat, but don't tell anyone. She gave her love generously, and those who received it will continue to carry it, and her, with them. Her life's work was to teach. Being a "teacher" is not just what she did, it was who she was. Margie created learning opportunities wherever she went. Margie found tremendous joy in a quiet morning spent with a cup of coffee and her Bible, particularly when in the company of a certain babbling river. She always said her family was her "world's treasure," and everyone who knew her knew they always had a place to call "home." She was a wonderful wife, selfless mother, kind sister, faithful daughter, generous friend, caring teacher and a blessing to everyone who met her. "See Mama." Margie always taught by showing. She kindly corrected missteps and would gently put you back on the right path. I don't think anyone ever did wrong in her eyes, but she always knew when you could do better, and she made you want to. She even taught by example when she didn't mean to; we learned some of our most creative swearing from her when she thought no one could hear. We were reminded of how much we were loved when she sent us off with "Do good, be sweet, have fun, I love you!" She was like springtime. You could feel her warmth wherever you were. She was like springtime. All around you can see the blossoms she nurtured, and you can still see her work growing in the world. She was like springtime, and she endured terrible tempests. She was like springtime, and she left vibrance in her path. She was like springtime, and she always will be. She was preceded in death by her mother, Allie Ann "Mimaw" Fant; her father, John S.G. "Pawpaw" Fant; and her father-in-law, Morrell Glenn "Grandpa" Youngblood.
